People often ask how we fit six people into 800 sq. ft. Well, here's how. And we're actually about to become five during the week. My mom just got a job an hour away--but she'll usually be back on the weekends.
The "nursery." Actually the west wall of our bedroom...
Here you can see how much clearance we have between "our room" and "the nursery."
The rest of the master bedroom/nursery.
Same living room, different angle.
Entryway. That's the same recliner you saw in the last living room photo.
Doors to the bathroom, kids' room, and our room.
The other side of the kids' bedroom.
Original dining room on the house. The one we use was added later--you can see it through the doorway on the left. This one is a play/activity center.
"The cave." There's a loft bed up on the left. This room was also added later. That window has no glass, and originally was on the outside of the house.
Kitchen, new angle.
Yes, it's tight, but we're pretty comfortable. That isn't to say that we aren't looking forward to having more room someday, but for now, we're thankful for a place to be.
But if you know someone who wants a cute, 2 bedroom, 800sq. ft. house in Wallowa, send them our way!
